Life is a gift from God. Many struggles in daily life are nothing but distractions. We can get lost in these distractions, ponder and think about them all to much. We need to praise God for the gift of life. God entrusted us an inheritance, gifts that come from above, however if you do not do something with what God gives, you'll die. Part of these gifts is bearing good fruit. Bearing fruit is what should flow out of the gifts God gives.
Working on earth and having a Job is a gift. 1 Thessalonians 4:11-12 reads: "Make it your ambition to lead a quiet life, to mind your own business and to work with your hands, just as we told you, so that your daily life may win the respect of outsiders and so that you will not be dependent on anybody."
When we think or read about God creating the world we know he was not just sitting on his throne, no he was busy working. He did not need anybody. God was dependent on no one. He didn't need acceptance or encouragement from anybody. When you are doing Gods work you are doing it for God. You make the environment where you work. We must understand our Job is a gift and realize God wants us to have a good attitude about it. "The man who does what he loves will never work another day."
"My mother pushed me to work, and God gives me, and you the keys to work. Depend on him and go. Our work for God is a bridge to minister and gain respect of outsiders. Get busy doing things God has entrusted you with.
How do we work? We can do anything, work hard with excellence, but do not work for the people, money and wrong motivations, work for God. Mother Treasa gave her life to others. "God wants to show his greatness by my nothingness."
We are just like pencils, that's it. Now will you allow God to lift you up and write what he wants for you? It does not matter how you look on the outside, but come into the masters hands, let him sharpen, let him write.
